Remote Terminal Unit/ RTU NPT 3010

Remote terminal units provide acquisition of analog and digital signals, issue of control commands and OID implementation. Among other RTU's functions are collecting and pre-processing of data from MP RPA devices, energy meters and other microprocessor devices. Time synchronization with sattelite-sourced time signal up to 1 ms is possible.

For small-scale units direct transmission of telemechanics data is possible from RTU NPT3010, that is, RTU NPT 3010 may be used as a telemechanics controller (TMC).

Principal advantages of the device are found in the fact that it becomes possible to process large volume of digital data (up to 256 digital signals; up to 128 control commands; 16 signals 4-20mA range; up to 4 direct input channels of from CT/VT) and create redundant I/O channels.

The remote terminal unit is realized as a Eurocard crate 6 or 3 units high. Up to 14 modules can be installed into the crate. All the modules were developed bearing the acting regulations in mind and provide galvanic separation of circuits and immunity to noise.

Modules are provided with internal microprocessor for initial poll of inputs and transmission of signals to the middle/upper level.

RTU NPT 3010 is also manufactured as a somewhat smaller construct for installation into a cell of indoor switchgear cell of medium Voltage Grade 6-20kV.
