Computer-aided design system SCADA Studio - SCL / CIM Configurator
SCL / CIM Configurator is a System Configurator designed for the computer-aided design of communication networks and substation systems (including digital) in accordance with IEC 61850-6 (SCL) and IEC 61970 (CIM) standards.
SCL / CIM Configurator allows you to design a turnkey substation using all the capabilities formulated in the IEC 61850-6 (SCL) standard, as well as to link the substation to a common power system information model in accordance with the IEC 61970 (CIM) standard/
An additional important feature of the configurator is the ability to configure the real-time IED behavior emulator, which allows testing automated control systems, performing acceptance tests without the need for physical devices at the test site.
Features at a glance:
- design of single-line diagrams according to IEC 61850 part 6 (SCL):
- creation of a one-line diagram of a substation using a library of standard elements;
- expanding the library of elements using a special editor;
- binding of functional logical nodes to primary equipment;
- linking logical functions and sub-functions to primary equipment;
- binding the location of the projected objects on the map (GIS);
- design of single-line diagrams in accordance with IEC 61970 (CIM):
-
- import of RDF / XML files describing substations and energy districts using elements of the common information model (CIM);
- linking the projected single-line diagram to the general power system information model (CIM);
- export of RDF / XML files describing substations and energy districts with SCL and CIM elements harmonized with each other;
- maintenance of the IED library:
- import of ICD files;
- import of IID files;
- creating and configuring data sets;
- creation and configuration of control blocks for transmission of reports (MMS), GSE / GOOSE-messages, SV streams;
- design of IED:
-
- adding an IED to the project;
- creating and configuring data sets;
- configuring control blocks for transmission of reports (MMS), GSE / GOOSE-messages, SV streams;
- functional connection of the IED to the power primary equipment of the substation (single-line diagram);
- export of CID files;
- setting up informational relationships of the IED:
-
- adding subnets;
- connecting IED access points to subnets;
- setting up addresses for sending reports via MMS;
- configuring addresses for transmitting GSE / GOOSE messages;
- setting addresses for transferring sampled values of measurements (Sampled Values);
- export of the finished substation configuration (SCD files);
- emulation of IED behavior:
-
- configuring network interfaces;
- setting up the transmission of reports via MMS;
- setting up the reception and transmission of GOOSE-messages;
- Formation of IED operation algorithms using flexible logic using function blocks according to the IEC 61131 standard;
- debugging IED operation algorithms;
- Simulation of discrete and analog data using trends and automatic algorithms, with the ability to reproduce on an IED.
